Our Storm Inspection & Insurance Report

A quick look from the driveway isn't an inspection. When Indemnity Roofing inspects your roof after a storm, you get the same documentation an adjuster produces — except ours is built to make sure nothing gets missed.

What we inspect

• Every roof slope — walked, not viewed from the ground. We mark hail impacts and wind damage with chalk so they're visible in the photos.
• Test squares — a 10' × 10' area on each slope where hail hits are counted, the standard adjusters use to determine whether a slope qualifies for replacement.
• Soft metals — gutters, downspouts, vents, flashing, and window screens. Hail dents on soft metals are strong supporting evidence for a claim.
• Ridge, hip, and starter shingles — the pieces most often torn or creased by wind.
• Attic and interior — decking condition, daylight through the deck, water staining, and ventilation.
• Collateral damage — fences, siding, outbuildings, and AC units that may belong on the same claim.

What's in your written report

• Date of the storm event and date of inspection
• Labeled photos of every slope, close-ups of each type of damage, and test-square counts
• A plain-English written assessment of the roof's condition
• Our recommendation: repair, replacement, or no action needed
• Roof measurements and a preliminary scope of work so the adjuster's estimate has something to be checked against
• A code-items list — ventilation, drip edge, ice-and-water shield, decking — that Louisiana carriers frequently leave off the first estimate

What happens next

If the report shows claim-worthy damage, you file with your insurer and we meet the adjuster on site with the report in hand. If it doesn't, we tell you honestly — and if a small repair or emergency tarp is all you need, we handle that too.
